If it is not recorded, it is not done
Every maintenance task must be recorded. Engineers use maintenance manuals, task cards, technical logs and certificates of release to service.
Accurate records are a legal requirement and a key safety tool.

Train at Redwings Aerotechnique, Bhopal
Redwings Aerotechnique is a DGCA-approved CAR-147 basic maintenance training organisation in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is part of Redwings Group, which also runs its own DGCA-approved CAR-145 maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation. This connection means students learn aircraft maintenance from people who work to real industry standards every day.
Students can choose the B1.1 (turbine aeroplanes), B1.2 (piston aeroplanes) or B2 (avionics) stream, or the dual programme AME + B.E. Classes follow the DGCA syllabus and are supported by an engine system lab, airframe system lab, electrical, radio navigation, instrument and battery workshops, a general workshop, audio-visual classrooms and a library. Teaching and counselling are available in Hindi and English.
Admission is through the Redwings Aerotechnique admission test, or by direct joining after an eligibility check. Merit scholarships are offered on the admission test score. Redwings students have recorded 100% results in DGCA module examinations across several sessions, and the first Redwings batch achieved 100% placement in airline and MRO jobs.
You are welcome to visit the Bhopal campus to see the labs and workshops, meet the faculty and talk to the admission team before you decide. Parents can join the counselling session too.

Why students choose Redwings
Why paperwork is part of airworthiness
In aviation, an aircraft is only airworthy if its records prove that every required task has been done correctly. That is why maintenance documentation is treated as seriously as the work itself.
Approved data
All work must follow approved data such as the aircraft maintenance manual, structural repair manual, illustrated parts catalogue, wiring diagrams and service bulletins. Engineers must use the current revision of these documents.
Task cards and work packages
Scheduled work is issued as task cards that describe each step, tools, parts and inspection points. Engineers sign each step as they complete it, and critical tasks may need an independent inspection.
Technical log
The technical log records defects reported by the crew and the action taken by engineers. It travels with the aircraft and is checked before every flight.
Release to service
After maintenance, an authorised engineer signs a certificate of release to service confirming that the work was done correctly and the aircraft is fit to fly. This signature carries legal responsibility.
Learning it at Redwings
Modules 7 and 10 cover documentation, procedures and regulations. Faculty with industry experience explain how records are checked in audits and why accurate, honest documentation protects both the engineer and the passengers.
