Train at Redwings Aerotechnique, Bhopal
Redwings Aerotechnique is a DGCA-approved CAR-147 basic maintenance training organisation in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is part of Redwings Group, which also runs its own DGCA-approved CAR-145 maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation. This connection means students learn aircraft maintenance from people who work to real industry standards every day.
Students can choose the B1.1 (turbine aeroplanes), B1.2 (piston aeroplanes) or B2 (avionics) stream, or the dual programme AME + B.E. Classes follow the DGCA syllabus and are supported by an engine system lab, airframe system lab, electrical, radio navigation, instrument and battery workshops, a general workshop, audio-visual classrooms and a library. Teaching and counselling are available in Hindi and English.
Admission is through the Redwings Aerotechnique admission test, or by direct joining after an eligibility check. Merit scholarships are offered on the admission test score. Redwings students have recorded 100% results in DGCA module examinations across several sessions, and the first Redwings batch achieved 100% placement in airline and MRO jobs.
You are welcome to visit the Bhopal campus to see the labs and workshops, meet the faculty and talk to the admission team before you decide. Parents can join the counselling session too.

Why students choose Redwings
Is the B2 avionics licence right for you?
The B2 licence is the avionics category of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence. It suits students who enjoy electricity, electronics, instruments and systems, and who like solving problems with test equipment and wiring diagrams.
What B2 engineers work on
B2 engineers maintain electrical power generation and distribution, lighting, flight and engine instruments, communication radios, navigation systems, autopilot and flight management systems, and the electronic parts of engine control and monitoring. On modern aircraft, almost every system has an electronic element, so B2 skills are needed throughout the aircraft.
How B2 training is structured
B2 students study the foundation modules along with Module 13 Aircraft Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems and Module 14 Propulsion. Electrical, electronic and digital modules are especially important for B2 because they form the base for everything else.
Skills that help
Patience, careful reading of wiring diagrams, logical fault finding and respect for sensitive components all make a good avionics engineer. Communication skills also matter because B2 engineers often work alongside B1 colleagues and flight crew to solve problems.
Career outlook
As aircraft become more digital, avionics knowledge becomes more valuable. B2 engineers work in airlines, MROs, avionics shops and with charter and helicopter operators.
B2 at Redwings
Redwings Aerotechnique offers B2 basic training with practice in the radio navigation, instrument, electrical and battery workshops, module-wise exam preparation and placement support.
