CAR-147 covers training. CAR-145 covers maintenance organisations.
Explained
The difference
CAR-147 is the DGCA requirement for approved basic maintenance training organisations. It is the approval that lets an institute deliver AME basic training.
CAR-145 is for approved maintenance organisations, also called MROs, where aircraft are actually maintained and overhauled.
Redwings holds CAR-147 approval, and Redwings Group runs its own CAR-145 approved MRO.
